The book consists of 12 true stories of someone who got away with a crime at first but was ultimately caught. Most of the crimes are murders though there is one fraud case and one theft. It's not a literary masterpiece by any means/5. So the book is an interesting crime mystery although you know the crime from the start. Some excessive use of abjectives early on, but settles into a good pace. The plan behind the 'perfect crime' was nothing more than some clever timing.
